This policy covers all websites and services in the MyFinder network. A full list of sites is available at myfinder.io/en/network.

2. What we collect and why
Contact forms and inquiries
When you use a contact form or send an inquiry, your message (name, email and content) is forwarded directly to the profile you contacted. We do not store the content of your message. They then become responsible for handling your data in the conversation that follows. We log the number and timing of inquiries for statistics purposes, but not your contact information or the content of your message.
Email inquiries
If you contact us directly by email, we retain your message in order to respond to it.
Legal basis: your consent (by submitting the form or by contacting us directly) and our legitimate interest in operating the platform.
Account holders
We collect your name, email and encrypted password to give you access to your account. Each account belongs to one individual.
Niche profiles
The information you add to your niche profiles is stored and shown publicly on the relevant niche site.
Locations
When you create a location (company, association or organisation), we collect and display the information you enter publicly on the relevant niche site. People connected to a location can edit their own location-specific personal information.
Payments and purchases
When you make a subscription or one-off payment, we collect the necessary invoicing and transaction details. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
3. Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics across all our websites for traffic measurement. Plausible is cookieless and cannot identify you as an individual. No consent is required.
4. Third-party services
Cloudflare Turnstile — protects our forms from spam. Processes your IP address and browser signals. Falls under strictly necessary functionality — no consent required. Data may be processed outside the EU under Standard Contractual Clauses. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
OpenStreetMap — powers our interactive map. Your IP address is sent to their tile servers when the map loads. We do not store this. See openstreetmap.org/privacy.
Stripe — handles all payments. See stripe.com/privacy.
5. Who we share data with
We use Hetzner (hosting), Supabase (database), Resend (email) and Plausible (analytics) to operate the platform. All are bound by data processing agreements. We do not sell your data.
6. How long we keep your data
You can delete your account at any time via account settings in app.myfinder.io. If you delete your account, your data is immediately permanently deleted — except where we are legally required to retain certain records (e.g. invoicing).
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to or withdraw consent for any processing. Contact privacy@myfinder.io. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency at datatilsynet.dk.
8. Changes
When we make material changes, the "Last updated" date above will change and you may be asked to re-accept the policy before continuing.
